Robert L. Gneiser, 74, of 585 South St., Green Lake, died July 13, 1989, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
He was born October 9, 1914, in Green Lake to Louis and Emogene Fink Gneiser. On July 20, 1935, he married Dorothy Zweiger.
Mr. Gneiser was educated in Green Lake and had lived in Green Lake all his life. He had been employed for 35 years at the former Van Rhyn's Supper Club in Green Lake (now called Alfred's). He had also been a buttermaker in his early years and a milk hauler for the Brooklyn Creamery.
Survivors include one daughter, Lois (Orlo) Bierman of Green Lake; one son, James (Gail) Gneiser of Green Lake; 5 grandchildren, Mark (Brenda) Gneiser, Penny (Dave) Toso, Lori (Richard) Waters, Michael (Karen) Bierman and Lynn Bierman; three great-grandchildren, Benjamin and Elizabeth Gneiser and Ashley Bierman; one brother, Fredric Gneiser of Green Lake. He was preceded in death by his wife on April 22, 1988, one sister and two brothers.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 17, 1989, at 11:00 am at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. The Reverend James D. Mohr will officiate and interment will follow in the Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake.
Friends may call Sunday from 5:00 until 8:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
