Robert "Kid" Ballard

Robert “Kid” Ballard, age 70, of Rosendale, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 15, 1993, at Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital in Milwaukee, WI.
He was born on April 23, 1922, in Rosendale, the son of Elmer and Ann (Sherwood) Ballard. After attending school in the Town of Springvale, he worked for the Rueping Leather Company in Fond du Lac until his retirement. On March 5, 1946, he married the former Rachael Kohls. He is a member of Peace Lutheran Church of Rosendale.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Lee of Rockledge, FL, and Steven (Barbara) of Rosendale; one daughter, Karen Jorgensen of Fond du Lac; nine grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by four brothers, one sister and three grandsons.
Services for “Kid” will be Monday, April 19, 1993, at 11:00 a.m. at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale. The Reverend Bruce Buslaff will officiate. Interment will follow at the Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale. Friends may call Sunday from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services at the church.
