Robert "Mac" Mcelroy

Robert “Mac” McElroy, 62, of Ripon, passed away Saturday, February 14, 1998, at Ripon Medical Center.
Robert was born the son of Bernard “Mac” and Elva (Barnett) McElroy in Berlin on October 4, 1935. He graduated from Ripon High School, and entered the U.S. Air Force. Mac had 30 years of dedicated service working for the Ripon Postal Service. He enjoyed playing cribbage with his family, especially his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife Carol McElroy of Ripon; two sons, Guy (Barb) McElroy of Wisconsin Rapids, Richard McElroy of Milwaukee; three grandchildren, Jonathon, Rebecca and Rachel McElroy of Wisconsin Rapids; his mother Elva McElroy of Ripon; two brothers, Richard McElroy of TN, Russell McElroy of CA; cousins, brother-in-laws and sisters-in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends. He was preceded in death by his father and an infant daughter Linda Sue.
A memorial service for Robert McElroy will be held on Tuesday, February 17, 1998, at 11:00 A.M. at the Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon with the Rev. David A. Busker officiating. lnurnment will follow in the Eureka Cemetery, Eureka.
