Robert J. Macholz, age 72, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, September 5, 1956, at Ripon Municipal Hospital.
Robert was born August 24, 1884, in West Bend, WI, the son of William and Wilhelmina (Strielow) Macholz. He was educated at West Bend Public Schools. On October 14, 1915, Robert married Sadie Bill in Ripon. He retired as a Line Forman for 22 years at North West Telephone. Robert was a member of the Masonic Lodge Royal Arch Masons and a former member of The Eastern Star and Odd Fellows.
Survivors include his wife, Sadie and one brother, Alvin Macholz of Beaver Dam, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and two brothers.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 5, 1956, after 12:00 noon at Butzin Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Robert will be held on Friday, September 7, 1956, at 2:00 pm at Butzin Funeral Home with The Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will be held at Hillside Cemetery in Ripon.
