Robert J. Miller, age 77, of Oshkosh, WI, passed away of Leukemia at his home on Saturday, November 29, 2014.
Bob was born December 30, 1936, in Rudolph, WI, the son of Ernest and Helen (Kruse) Miller. Bob married Lauralee Marohn on December 28, 1961 in Zion, WI. He was a construction and sheet metal worker by trade, but was a farmer at heart and loved his hobby farm. Bob also served our nation in the United States Military, Army National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Lauralee of Oshkosh, WI; son, Adam Miller and his children, Mitchell and Melanie, of Waupun, WI; daughter, Bethany (Steve) Ziebell of Port Washington, WI; son, Nathan (Rebekah) Miller and their children, Owen and Lilliana of Hartford, WI; sister, Dorothy (Horst) Krause of Watertown, WI; brothers, Ernest (Karen) Miller of Oshkosh, WI, Charles (Penny) Miller of Asunción, Paraguay, Gordon (Mary) Miller of Rockford, IL; sister, Patricia (Dennis) Grudzinske of Port Edwards, WI; brothers and sister-in-law, Louis (Patricia) Marohn of Glenview, IL, Frederick “Bud” (Sally) Marohn, Linda (Donald) Merz, and Allan Marohn all of Pickett, WI, and Daniel Marohn of Oshkosh, WI. Bob was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Harold Miller.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2014, from 9:30 – 11:30 a.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. Per Bob’s wishes, there will be private family services held at a later time. A memorial is being established.
