Robert F. Prellwitz, age 100, of Ripon, WI, passed away Monday, April 2, 1990, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
He was born March 5, 1890, in Ripon, a son of Fredrick and Anna (Berndt) Prellwitz. On March 26, 1912, he married Johanna Sauerbrei. She preceded him in death on November 19, 1965. Mr. Prellwitz was educated in Ripon. He was in the Service Department at Speed Queen in Ripon and had resided in Ripon all his life. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ.
Survivors include two sons, Robert A. (Barbara) of Ripon and Edward (Leslie) of Sheboygan; two daughters, Mrs. Marion (Edwin) VandeBrink of Ripon and Mrs. Caroline (Alvin) Abel of Phoeniz, AZ; 10 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren. Robert was preceded in death by two grandsons, five brothers and four sisters.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 1990, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 5, 1990, at 2:00 pm at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon. Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial is being established.
