Robert Waltenberry

Robert William Waltenberry, age 72, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

Robert was born June 26, 1912, in the Town of Ripon, WI, the son of Archibald and Dora (Lupton) Waltenberry. He married Edna Roeder of June 15, 1939. Robert worked as a mechanic at Lueck Implement in Ripon. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon and a past member of Our Saviour’s dartball team, a member of Ripon Odd Fellows and Rebekahs, Modern Woodmen of America and Ripon Schmear League.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; one son, William of Ripon, WI; one daughter, Beverly (Roger) Fenner of Beaver Dam, WI; one brother, Arthur of Ripon, WI; three sisters, Margaret (Otto) Tornow of Ripon, WI, Marjorie Prellwitz of Ripon, WI and Louise (Edwin) Prellwitz of Ripon, WI and two granddaughters. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Visitation for Robert will be held on Friday, February 1, 1985, from 6 – 9:00 pm with a Odd Fellows and Rebekahs Service at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.

Funeral Service for Robert will be held on Saturday, February 2, 1985, at 9:30 am at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ with Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
