Bob Weyman, age79, died of cancer Sunday, January 10, 1999, at his home in Berlin, WI. He was born February 22, 1919, in Cincinnati, OH, and is survived by Mary, his wife of 57 years also from Cincinnati. Bob leaves two children, Bob (and Laraifle) Weyman of Cincinnati, and Barbara (and Jack) McMakefl of Portland, OR; as well as 5 grandchildren. His younger brother Edward (and Gloria) Weyman live in Cincinnati, and older sister Jane Peck in El Paso, TX. A sister-in-law Dr Else Weyman lives in Ft. Myers, FL, and her husband, Albert (Roberts brother) preceded him in death. Bob was a loving husband and father, an accomplished archer, and an avid hunter, fisherman, and golfer.
Bob and Mary grew up in Elmwood , OH and raised their family in Wyoming another suburb of Cincinnati. He graduated from University of Cincinnati. After serving in WWII and the Korean War as a Captain in the U.S. Air Force, he spent his 25 year career with Diamond International Paper Corp, culminating as Vice president of Marketing. Upon his retirement in 1979, he and Mary moved to Green Lake, WI, an area they had grown to love and where they had developed many close friendships. Bob served as a Director of the Green Lake Association for many years.
The family has asked that donations be made in his name to St. Agnes Hospice Hope, 114 N. Pearl St., Berlin, WI 54923.
