Roberta Jean (Remmenga) VonLoh, 67, of 555 West John St, Markesan, WI, passed away Monday, January 23, 2006, at her home.
She was born September 28, 1938, in McKinly Township, Taylor County, WI, a daughter to George and A. Theresa (Lampman) Remmenga. Roberta graduated from Markesan High School. On December 30, 1969, she married LaVern VonLoh in Smithfield, NE. Until retiring, for 28 years she had been a factory worker at B-D in Holdrege, NE.
Survivors include 1 son, Tom (Chris) Remmenga of Bertrand, NE; 4 grandchildren, Noelle, Lacey, Jade and Jason; 3 sisters, Pat Borth of Fond du Lac, Jan Klawitter of Markesan, and Mickey (Donald) Wackett of Waupun; 4 brothers, Harold Remmenga of Lincoln, NE, Larry Remmenga of Concordia, KS, Gary Remmenga of Elwood, NE and Mike (Starla) Remmenga of Elwood, NE; several nieces and nephews; and step-children. She was preceded in death by her husband, LaVerne VonLoh; her parents; 2 brothers, Clarence R. and Ralph W.; 2 nieces, Jill Remmenga and Tammy Klawitter; and 2 nephews, Dennis Wackett and Patrick Klapper.
A memorial service for Roberta Jean VonLoh will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, January 27, 2006, at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon, WI, with the Rev. Gary Zacharias officiating. Inurnment will be at Elwood Cemetery, in Elwood, NE at a later date. A memorial has been established.
