Roger Thomas Elliott, age 63, of Fond du Lac, WI, passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011, at his home in Fond du Lac.
Roger was born on May 19, 1948, in Fond du Lac, the son of Mable (Elliott) Runke. He was a mechanic for Eden Canning Factory, was a member of the Fond du Lac Historical Society, was the Fond du Lac County Historian and wrote books on Fond du Lac County history.
Survivors include one daughter, Melissa LeDoux of Fond du Lac, WI; one granddaughter, Abigail LeDoux; three adopted children, Dave, Debbie, and Paul LeDoux and their families; one sister, Diana Traver of Fond du Lac, WI; two nephews, Tim Traver and Nathan Arthurs and three great-nephews, Mitchel Traver, Landon and Brody Arthurs. Roger was preceded in death by his life long girlfriend, Dorothy LeDoux; mother, Mabel Mae Runke; sister, Brenda Rae Fude; two uncles, Ray and Bernard Elliott.
A graveside memorial service for Roger Elliott will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at 4:00 pm, at the Rosendale Cemetery, Hwy 26 South, Village of Rosendale with full Military Honors.
