Roger A. Merlin, age 49, of Markesan, passed away November 29, 2008, at Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac after a grueling battle with cancer- Roger is now at peace.
Roger was born on March 5, 1959, in Cudahy, WI, the son of Charles and Roberta (Samano) Merlin. Survivors include, his parents; sisters, Debbie (David) Bugni and Donna Boelens; 3 brothers, Ron (Jill) Merlin, Rick Merlin and Ray (Jenny) Merlin; special aunt and uncle, Jean and Dennis Sharpe; special friends, Pat Habanek and Charles Nudi. He also left behind many other aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and many friends that he made through out his adventures in life. Roger is preceded in death by his grandparents, Frank and Dorothy Merlin and Jesse and Josephine Samano.
Visitation for Roger will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008, from 2:00-3:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Memorial Service for Roger will be held on Monday, December 8, 2008, at 3:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Harlen Nefsted officiating. A memorial has been established.
