Roland Lester Rueckert, 73, of 45 Highland Ave., Ripon, died September 13, 1995 at his home.
Roland was born October 23, 1921 in the Town of Ripon, the son of William and Leona (Griese) Rueckert, Jr. He was educated in Ripon. On September 17, 1960, he married the former Marilyn Jennings. Roland farmed, worked at Speed Queen in Ripon from 1959 to 1976, and was a custodian in the Ripon Public Schools from 1976 until his retirement in 1986. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn; 1 daughter, Jane (Harland) hike of Markesan; 1 sister, Lorraine (Eldon) Benz of Deerfield; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by 1 infant daughter, Cynthia, and his mother and father.
Funeral services for the late Roland Lester Rueckert will be 10:30 A.M. Saturday, September 16, 1995 at Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, Ripon with the Reverend Eric Burnard officiating. Interment will be in the Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett. The family will receive friends Friday from 4 until 7 P.M. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon.
