Roman Jaworski

November 17, 1921 — March 19, 1989

Roman B. Jaworski, 67, of 811 Woodside Ave., Ripon, died Sunday, March 19, 1989, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

He was born November 17, 1921, in Ripon, to William and Frances Kitowski Jaworski. On January 22, 1949, he married Beverly Kempfer in Waupun.

Mr. Jaworski was educated in Ripon. He was a carpenter and had lived in Ripon. He was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church and a member of the American Legion and Veterans of Foreign Wars. Mr. Jaworski served in the United States Navy from December 17, 1941 until November 2, 1945.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronald of Ripon and William of Sheboygan; two daughters, Maryann (Douglas) Eilers of Luxington Park, MD and Christine Joann (Tom) Oliver of Austin, Texas; 7 grandchildren; 6 sisters, Josephine (Loren) Lieske and Ann (Al) Braun, Marge (Edward) Beuthin and Joan (Alan) Kennedy all of Ripon, Helen Stratten of Oshkosh and Martha (Robert) Manthey of Menomonee Falls and his mother, Frances Jaworski of Ripon. He was preceded in death by his father, one son and two sisters.

A service of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 10:00 am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church. The Reverend William L. Toelle will officiate and interment will follow in St. Patrick Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.

Friends may call Wednesday from 6 until 8:30 pm at Butzin-Marcant Funeral Home where a VFW Service will held at 8:00 pm and a Rosary will be recited at 8:30 pm.
