Ronald W. Carne, age 71, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at his home with family by his side.
Ronald was born September 8, 1943, in Oak Park, IL, the son of Robert and Francis (Cahill) Carne. He graduated from high school and attended four years in college. Ronald went on to serve our country in the United States Army Reserves. On June 24, 1967, Ronald married Mary Ellen McDonald in Green Lake. He worked in finance as CEO of several companies.
Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Mary Ellen Carne of Green Lake, WI; one daughter, Meg Carne of Green Lake, WI; one son, Andrew Carne of Madison, WI; four wonderful grandchildren who will all dearly miss him, Matilda, Wesley and Arthur Carne all of Madison, WI and Dorsey Carne-Strasburger of Memphis, TN and one brother, Randy of Sandpoint, ID. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Francis and his brother, Robert.
Per the family’s wishes, a memorial celebration will be held in late summer. A memorial may be established in his name.
