Ronald J. Dott, age 59, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 04, 2015, at home in the presence of his family.
Ronald was born March 14, 1956, in Hartford, WI, the son of James and Lois (Kenefick) Dott. He graduated from Rio High School and went on to receive an Associate’s Degree from MATC (Madison). Ronald married Barbara (Braaksma) on May 14, 1977, in Rio, WI. He was the National Sales Manager of PGI, which specialized in fire protective clothing, for 32 years. Ronald was a member of the Green Lake Fire Commission, Green Lake Crime Stoppers, and The Federated Church of Green Lake. He enjoyed baseball, golfing, and loved riding his motorcycle. Most importantly, he loved his family.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Dott of Green Lake, WI; sons, Brian (Alissa) Dott of Ham Lake, MN, Jason Dott of Green Lake, WI, and Aaron (fiancée Lindsay Porter) Dott of Madison, WI; grandsons, Oliver and Henry Dott of Ham Lake, MN; mother and father, James and Lois Dott of Rio, WI; sisters, Connie (Ken) Denure, Lola (Weston) Bortz, and Lynn (Daniel) Bubolz all of Rio, WI; brother, Thomas (Kira) Dott of Verona, WI; mother in-law, Avis Dalton (Gary Swan) and brother in-law Tim Braaksma. Ronald is further survived by many nieces and nephews along with several great nieces and nephews. Ronald is preceded in death by his father in-law, Ray Braaksma and step father in-law, Ron Dalton.
Visitation for Ronald J. Dott will be held Friday, April 10, 2015, from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Saturday, April 11, 2015, from 10 – 11:00 a.m. at The Federated Church of Green Lake, 489 Scott St. P.O. Box 471 Green Lake, WI 54941.
Funeral Service for Ronald J. Dott will be held on Saturday, April 11, 2015, at 11:00 a.m. at The Federated Church of Green Lake in Green Lake. Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez will officiate. Interment will follow at Dartford Cemetery in the City of Green Lake. A memorial is being established.
