Ronald Joseph Mitchell, age 53, of Ripon, WI passed away on Saturday, November 14, 1992 at his home.

He was born March 8, 1939, in Fond du Lac, the son of John and Florence (Wuest) Mitchell. He was educated in Fond du Lac public schools. On June 3, 1989 he married Lori Dorsey. He was a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Ronald spent most of his life as a cross country truck driver and was a member of Goldwing Roar Riders Association, a member of Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church and was co-owner and operator of F&R. Upholstery in Fond du Lac.

Ronald is survived by his wife, three sons: Zachary at home, Michael of Fond du Lac and Marke of Randolph, his mother, Florence Wittkopf of Fond du Lac and paternal grandmother, Della Mitchell of Fond du Lac, two brothers: Richard (Lorraine) and Thomas (Therese) Both of Fond du Lac, three sisters: Joan (Terry) Collien of Brownsville, Mary Lou (Bob) England of Fond du Lac and Shirley (Fred) Willis of Kewaskum. Also surviving are 21 nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews and several great-nieces and nephews. Ronald was preceded in death by his father, maternal grandparents, paternal grandfather and step-father.

Funeral Services for Ronald Mitchell will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 1992 at Mt. Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon with the Reverend David Haberkorn officiating. Interment will follow in Rosendale Cemetery. Friends may call from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. Monday, November 16, 1992 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
