Ronald Kenneth Munsey, age 58, died Sunday, June 27, 2004, at his home in rural Markesan.
He was born February 15, 1946, in Berlin, a son to Harry and Elna (Anderson) Munsey. Ron graduated from Ripon High School, and served in the U.S. Navy. He was self-employed for 35 years at Munseys Auto Body, specializing in custom auto-body and motorcycle fabrication and design. Ron was a founding member of the Masters Motor Cycle Club, Ripon Pistol Club, and the Amateur Boxing Club of Ripon.
Survivors include his wife, Barbara Paul; children, Chad Munsey of Los Angeles, CA and Lori Munsey (Scott Aubry, fiance) of Winneconne, and their mother, Donna; 2 brothers, Cliff Munsey and Tom (Sheryl) Munsey, and sister, Barb (John) Vickerman, all of St. Petersburg, Fl; stepchildren, Nan (Dave) Pazdernik, Shelly and Matt Paul; grandchildren, Evan and Vanessa Munsey, Andrew and Alex Pazdernik and Jessica Paul; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Carol Jean Munsey; and brother, Ed Munsey.
Funeral service for Ron Munsey will be at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2004, at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home Ripon. The Reverend J. Douglas Hanback will officiate. Interment will be in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 29 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home, and again on Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service. A memorial has been established in his name.
