Rose Dorthea Crossman, age 78, of Holtville, CA, passed away September 1, 1984, at her home.
Rose was born February 6, 1906, in Byron, WI, the daughter of Fred and Bertha (Hartkopf) Wollerman. She married Steve Crossman on August 26, 1925 until his death on May 14, 1974. Rose worked as a housewife and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale.
Survivors include one son, Steve Crossman of Holtville, CA; one daughter, Carol (James) Gross of Rosendale, WI; eight grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, one brother, Ernest Wollerman of Rosendale, WI; two sisters, Regina (Fred) Toll of Ripon, WI and Mathilda (Mike) Faber of Marytown, WI. She was preceded in death by her husband, one brother and four sisters.
Visitation for Rose will be held on Thursday, September 6, 1984, from 6 – 9:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon and again on Friday, September 7, 1984, from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church in Rosendale.
Funeral Service for Rose will be held on Friday, September 7, 1984, at 11:00 am at Peace Lutheran Church with Reverend Bruce Buslaff officiating. Interment will follow at Rosendale Cemetery in the Village of Rosendale. A memorial has been established for Peace Lutheran Church.
