Rose Theresa Curtis, 56, of 521 Main St., Brownsville, formerly of Green Lake, died Tuesday, August 9, 1988, at home.

She was born February 5, 1932, to William and Clara Timmer. She was a homemaker. She had just recently moved to Brownsville after having lived in Green Lake. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. She was divorced.

Survivors include one daughter, Lisa Curtis of Eau Claire; six sons, Robert (Jane), US Coast Guard, Kodiak, AK; Bradley (Teri) of the USMC, Laguna Hills, CA; Douglas (Brenda) of Mayville; Chris of the USMC, San Diego, CA; William and Joseph of Brownsville; 3 grandchildren; one brother, Richard Timmer of Clinton, IA; five sisters, Delores Eisenbeis, Jenny Schutzle, Clara and Rita Timmer, and Mary Behr, all of Clinton, IA.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Friday, August 12, 1988, at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake. The Reverend Leo Joyce will officiate. Interment will be in Clinton Memorial Park, Clinton, IA.

Friends may call Thursday from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Thursday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon where a rosary will be held at 7:00 pm.
