Rose Emily Matejovsky, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, November 14, 1992 at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She was born January 15, 1902, in Chicago the daughter of Frank and Marie (Shipla) Smrz. On June 21, 1921 she married Joseph Matejovsky. He preceded her in death in 1987. Rose was educated in Chicago and was a housewife. She lived in Green Lake the last 7 years. She was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake and was a member of the American Red Cross during World War II.
Rose is survived by one daughter, Rose Mary (Carmen) Vespo of Green Lake, two grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and one brother, John Smrz of Illinois. In addition to her husband she was preceded in death by three sisters, and seven brothers.
Funeral Services for Rose Matejovsky will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 17, 1992 at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church in Green Lake with the Reverend Leo Joyce officiating. Interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Friends may call from 9:30 until the time of the services at the church.
