Rosella “Rosie” McDaniel, age 59, of Ripon, WI, passed away on July 5, 1985, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.

Rosella was born January 26, 1926, in DePere, WI, the daughter of Albert and Marie (Zegers) Zelten. She married Robert McDaniel on July 22, 1950 in DePere. Rosella worked at the DePere City Clerks Office. She was a member of St. Patricks Catholic Church and the Alter Society, Cub Scout Leader, Women’s Club member, member of the Hospital Auxillary, member of the P.T.O., member of Tuscumbia and Mascoutin Country Clubs and a Poll Clerk of the City of Ripon.

Survivors include husband, Robert; two sons, Dick of Minneapolis and Tom of Eau Claire; four daughters, Eileen of Ripon, WI, Terry of Tempe, Arizona, Mary Uhen of Tempe, Arizona and Peggy of Bayfield, WI; four brothers, Art Zelten of Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, Walter Zelten of Oakpark, Illinois, Don Zelten of Scarborough of Maine and Norbert Zelten of Fort Atkinson, WI; three sisters, Agnes Layde of Marco Island, Florida, Eleanor Kant of Janesville, WI and Mary Ellen LaComte of Lakewood, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters.

Visitation for Rosella will be held on Sunday, July 7, 1985, from 4 – 9:00 pm at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a Rosary at 7:30 pm.

Mass of Christian Burial for Rosella will be held on Monday, July 8, 1985, at 10:00 am at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon with Reverend John Schmitz officiating. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon.
