Roy Albright, 87, of Ripon, passed away at his home with his family at his side, on October 27, 2000.
Roy was born July 21, 1913, in Ripon, a son to John and Rose (Gruetzmacher) Albright. He was married to Lorna Beck on October 20, 1937, in Pickett. Roy enjoyed farming in the Ripon area his entire life. He was a member of the Grace Lutheran Church of Ripon.
Survivors include one son; LeRoy (Lois) Albright, Pickett; Three daughters; Mrs. Donna (Don) Duerst, Madison; Gail Albright, Ripon; and Mrs. Catherine (Terry) Otto, Ripon; Six grandchildren; Robert Albright, Julie Lind, David Duerst, Theodore Duerst, Daniel Duerst, and Aaron Otto. Three great-grandchildren; Atyssa and Brett Lind and Brandon Albright. He is also survived by one sister, Ruth (Alfred) Hasse. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorna; his parents, John and Rose Albright; and one brother Howard Albright.
Friends may call on October 30, 2000, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon. Services will be held October 31, 2000 at 10:30 a.m., with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service, at Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon. Rev. Jonathan Stansfield will be officiating, Interment will take place at Liberty Prairie Cemetery, Pickett. A memorial has been established.
