Roy Alfred Buchholz, age 87, of Green Lake, WI, passed away on Saturday, December 28, 1991, at his home.
He was born May 27, 1904 in the Town of Ripon, a son to John and Mary (Meilan) Buchholz. On September 1, 1991, he married Ann Mae Will. She preceded him in death in 1990.
Mr. Buchholz was a barber in the Ripon area for 33 years before retiring in 1962. He was a member of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon, and a member of the Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include one son: Garth (Donna) Buchholz of Green Lake, four granddaughters: Mary Buchholz of Madison, Janice (Mike) Novak of Wautoma, Carol (Bill) Evans of Ft. Collins, CO, and Donna (Joe) Burtch of Milwaukee. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren: Craig, Brian, Samuel Novak, Adam and Amy Burtch and Russell Evans. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, and one brother.
Funeral Services for Roy Buchholz will be held at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 1992 at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow officiating. Burial will be in Dartford Cemetery in Green Lake. Friends may call Thursday, from 7:00 p.m. until the time of services.
