Roy H.Holmquist, 84, of 67 WaWa Aye, Ripon, died August 26, 1995,at Parkview Care Center, Ripon where he has resided since January 1994.
He was born November 4, 1910 in Superior, WI, a son of the late John and Lena (Uden) HolmquLst. On July 15, 1939, he married Gwen Figer. Mrs. Holmquist died December 15, 1988. Roy attended the University of Wisconsin, Madison and was a self-employed electrical engineer. He was a member of the Society of Professional Engineers and the Appleton Elks.
Mr. Holmquist is survived by 1 son, Jon R. (Gloria) Holmquist of Winnetka, IL and his children, Peter and Laurel of IL and Carrie of MN; 1 stepson, Terry (Betty) Thompson of Mosinee and his children, Lynn (Dennis) Clark of Green Lake, Rae (John) Schuster of Berlin, Jackie (Tim) Lundquist of Oshkosh, Beth (Jeff) Wesner of Ripon, Kyle Thompson of Berlin; several step-great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Gertie Carlson of IL. He was preceded in death by his wife Gwen and 1 step-grandson, Rex Thompson.
There will be no visitation or funeral service. Inurnment will take place in Wyocena, WI.
