Roy R. Prellwitz, age 67, of Ripon, WI, passed away on January 3, 1987, at home.
Roy was born January 5, 1919, in Ripon, WI, the son of Richard and Louise (Born) Prellwitz. He graduated from Ripon High School and lived in the Ripon area all of his life. On January 20, 1945, he married Ruth Diskowski until her passing on July 6, 1981. Roy worked as an accountant for Speed Queen and the Berlin Foundry. He was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon, of Ripon/Green Lake Masonic Lodge #95, a member of ZOR Shrine, Scottish Rite Valley of Madison and a member of the Mascoutin Shrine Club.
Survivors include one sister, Ella (Arthur) Daehn of Ripon and nieces. He was preceded in death by his wife and parents.
Visitation for Roy will be held on Monday, January 5, 1987, from 6 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with a Masonic Service held at 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service for Roy will be held on Tuesday, January 6, 1987, at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ in Ripon with Reverend Harley Tretow officiating. Interment will follow at Garden of the Cross Cemetery in Ripon. A memorial has been established.
