Roy Sina, age 94, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, at Prairie Place in Ripon.
Roy was born on April 12, 1918, in Ripon, the son of Roman and Victoria (Pralat) Sina. On March 30, 1937, Roy married Hazel F. Voeltner and she preceded Roy in death in 1982. He married Bernice Bukowski on August 7, 1982 and she passed in 2011. Roy was a farmer his whole life and was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon.
Survivors include his son, Tom (Alice) Sina of Ripon, WI; daughter, Sharon (Ray) Yearwood of Oshkosh, WI; two step-daughters, Judith and Donna Bukowski both of Ripon, WI; one step-son, Daniel (Pam) Bukowski of Ripon; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, three step-grandchildren, five step-great-grandchildren, one sister-in-law, Josephine Sina of Ripon, WI and several nieces and nephews. Roy was preceded in death by his parents, both of his wives, Hazel and Bernice; four sisters and five brothers.
Visitation for Roy will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, from 9 – 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 415 E. Fond du Lac St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Mass of Christian Burial for Roy will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013, at 10:30 am at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Father William Whalen will officiate. Interment will follow at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery in the Town of Ripon. Memorials may be directed to St. Agnes Hospice Hope Foundation, 430 E. Division St. Fond du Lac, WI 54935.
