Roy F. Timm, age 70, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2011, at Appleton Medical Center in Appleton.
Roy was born March 29, 1941, in the Town of Green Lake, the son of Lester and Irmgard (Jacobs) Timm. On July 6, 1963, he married Roseann Froehlich in Markesan, WI. Roy retired from R & R Wash as a diesel mechanic after thirty five years. He enjoyed camping in his retirement as well as deer and turkey hunting. Thanks to Sony, John Deere and SnapOn for keeping him entertained. Cooking ribs in his smoker was also a pastime he enjoyed.
Survivors include his wife, Roseann of Ripon, WI; one daughter, Loreann (Bob) Faber of Winneconne, WI; one son, Lynn (Kim) Timm of Fox Lake, WI; four grandsons, Jason (Paulita) Kallas of Eureka, WI, Jay Kallas of Omro, WI, Josh (Sabrina) Kallas of Eureka, WI and Justin Kallas of Winneconne, WI; twin granddaughters, Leonna and Larissa Faber; three great-grandsons, Robert and James Kallas and Kole Kallas to be born in June; his mother, Irmgard; three brothers, Don (Diane) Timm of Green Lake, WI, twin brother, Ray (Antoinette) Timm of Fond du Lac, WI and Larry (Colleen) Timm of Green Lake, WI; many more relatives, nieces and nephews, close friends and his buddy, Woofer. Roy was preceded in death by his father, Lester.
“A Day of Remembering Roy” will be held on Saturday, May 14, 2011, from 11 – 5:00 pm at Christianos Pizza, W1917 Hwy 23, Green Lake, WI 54941. Memorials may be given to a charity of your choice or sent to: N9129 County Rd. FF, Ripon, WI 54971.
