Ruby Schrader, age 89, of Ripon, WI, passed away Tuesday, January 13, 2015, at Fountain View Care Center.
Ruby was born June 25, 1925, in Ripon, the daughter of John and Leona (Quast) Wood. She married Roy Schrader on September 30, 1944, at the First Evangelical Church (Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ) in Ripon, where she attended for many years. Ruby enjoyed being at home and valued the time with her family.
Survivors include her son, Doug (Patti) Schrader of Ripon, WI; grandsons, Brad (Betsy) Schrader of Connecticut and Dan (Kathy) Schrader of Ripon, WI; great grandchildren, Lilla Schrader, Amber Botters and Matthew Botters; sister-in-law, Eileen Keipe of Ripon, WI, along with her nieces and nephews. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, John and Leona Wood; husband, Roy; son, Ronald Schrader; great-granddaughter, Esther Schrader and two sisters, LaVerna Ballard and Violet Ustruck.
Visitation for Ruby will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015, from 4 – 6:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Ruby Schrader will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 6:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon. Reverend Dr. Kevin P. Mundell will officiate. Inurnment will be held at a later date. A memorial is being established.
