Rudolph P. Stelter, age 85, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 1951 at Kasten Convalescent Home in Green Lake, WI.
Rudolph was born in Ripon on June 26, 1866, the son of Julius and Ida (Wepner) Stelter. He worked as a tailor and lived in Ripon all his life. On May 30, 1899 he married Anna Wepner, who passed away on March 25, 1940.
Rudolph is survived by his daughter, Mrs. Fred Gruetzmacher of Rush Lake, WI; a son, Arthur Stelter of Ripon, WI; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and three half-sisters, Mrs. Mark Graham of Oak Park, IL, Mrs. Olando Seymour of Markesan, WI, and Mrs. Casey Klofta of Milwaukee, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents, Julius and Ida Stelter and his wife, Anna Stelter.
Visitation for Rudolph will be held from 9:00 am on Sunday, April 1, 1951 until 11:00 am on Monday, April 2, 1951 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and again from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm on Monday, April 2, 1951 at Scott Street Church in Ripon.
Funeral service for Rudolph will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 2, 1951 at Scott Street Church in Ripon, with Reverend E.E. Schieler officiating. Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Ripon, WI.
