Russell H. Galster, 88, of 571 Mill St. Green Lake, died January 4, 1994, at Ripon Medical Center, Ripon.
He was born October 25, 1905, in Detroit, MI, a son to the late George and Minnie (Lambert) Galster. He was educated in Detroit and on August 4, 1927, he married Hazel Offner. Russell had been a foreman in the Dodge Truck Plant in Detroit for 42 years. Since 1983, he and his wife have made their home in Green Lake. He was a friend of the Green Lake Federated Church.
Survivors include his wife, Hazel; 7 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law, Cynthia Galster of Green Lake. He was preceded in death by his son, Russell G. Galster.
Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. Friday at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, and on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the hour of services at the Federated Church of Green Lake.
Funeral services for Russell H. Galster will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with the Reverend Kent Meyer officiating. Interment will follow in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake.
