Ruth Gladys Casati, age 74, of Ripon, passed away on June 2, 1993, at her home.
She was born on July 1, 1918, in Ripon, the daughter of Elmer and Lillian (Welk) Burger. On July 4, 1940, she married Edward W. Casati. He passed away on December 8, 1972. Mrs. Casati had been a resident of Ripon all of her life and was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon. At the time of her retirement, Ruth was housekeeping supervisor at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.
She is survived by one son, Lee (Suzanne) Casati of West Bend, WI; one daughter, Pat (Reg0 Jaquish of Reedsburg, WI; five grandchildren; one brother, Roy (Doris) Burger of Madison, WI; three sisters, LaVerne (Harold) Toussaint, Joan Eick and Carol (Robert) Mc Elroy, all of Ripon; two aunts, Margaret Senn and Frieda Konrad, both of Ripon; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, June 5, 1993, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Ripon. The Reverend John A. Schmitz will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Patrick’s Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. Friday at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon where a Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m.
