Ruth H. Freeman, 83, of Fond du Lac, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Thursday, July 8, 2010, at the Fond du Lac Lutheran Home, Fond du Lac.
Ruth was born in Oshkosh on October 5, 1926, the daughter of Carl A. and Clara (Brey) Martin. She graduated from high school in Oshkosh, and on September 26, 1948, she married Flavil A. Freeman at Bethlehem Church. Ruth was a homemaker and a member of Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett.
Survivors include her children, Patricia (David) Curran of Montana, Catherine Freeman of Fond du Lac, WI, Rodney (Peggy) Freeman of Ripon, WI, Sharon (DJ Rabideaux) Frees of North Fond du Lac, WI, Douglas (Ruth) Freeman of Brandon, WI, and Christina Freeman of Berlin, WI; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and 3 sisters.
Visitation for Ruth Freeman will be held on Monday, July 12, 2010, from 10-11:00 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 502 County Road M, Pickett.
Funeral Service for Ruth Freeman will be held on Monday, July 12, 2010, at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Pickett, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Russell W. Kloehn officiating. Interment will follow at Liberty Prairie Cemetery in the Town of Utica. A memorial is being established.
