Ruth Meyer

Ruth H. Meyer, age 69, of Shorewood, WI, passed away on June 23, 1985, at Parkview Care Center in Ripon.

Ruth was born October 16, 1915, in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Nicholas and Adella (Geil) Gerke. She was educated in West Allis. Ruth worked as a public school teacher in Whitnall School Systems. She married Kenneth Meyer on March 25, 1936 until his death on September 20, 1973. Ruth was a member of North Shore Presbyterian Church in Shorewood.

Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie (William) Brooks of Ripon, WI and Gretchen (Robert) Brue of Shorewood; three grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Stiehm of Florida and Dorothy Corradini of California. She was preceded in death by her husband.

Memorial Service for Ruth will be held on Thursday, June 27, 1985, at 7:00 pm at North Shore Presbyterian Church with Reverend David Pfleiderer officiating. A memorial is established for the church.
