Ruth Marie (Stobb) Pischke, age 75, formerly of Ripon, died Friday, August 7, 1998, at Sunnyview Village in Princeton.
She was born September 6, 1922, in the Town of Metomen, a daughter to Walter J. and Minnie B. (Messerschmidt) Stobb. She received her education in Rosendale. On June 3, 1951, she married Arnold L. Pischke and they made their home on the farm in Ripon. Ruth was a member of Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon and the Ladies Aid, and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #378.
Survivors include her husband, Arnold L. Pischke of Markesan
Resident Home; 2 brothers and their wives, Warren and Ruth
Stobb of Ripon and Duel “Charlie” and Betty Stobb of Brandon;
3 sisters-in-law, lone Pischke; Sadie Pischke; and Phyllis
Stobb, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death
by her parents, 1 brother and 5 brothers-in-law.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 9, 1998, from 12:00 noon until 2 P.M. at Grace Lutheran Church in Ripon. Funeral services will follow at 2 P.M. with the Reverend Paul Holte officiating. Interment will be in Brandon Cemetery, village of Brandon.
