Ruth Francis Radtke, 80, of 615 W. Oshkosh St., Ripon, died Saturday, September 3, 1994, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center, Neenah.
Ruth was born June 13, 1914, in Rogersville, Town of Lamartine, the daughter of James “Franklin” and Mabel Bright Hendry. Ruth graduated from Oakfield High School and then attended Fountain Business School in Fond du Lac. Ruth worked at Speed Queen in Ripon as a machinist for over 35 years before her retirement. Ruth married the late Gilbert Radtke in 1937. She was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church in Ripon.
Survivors include one sister, Doris and her husband, Harold Schmitz of Oakfield; one daughter-in-law, Dorthea Radtke; and two grandchildren, Kenneth and Elizabeth Radtke all from Oklahoma; nieces, nephews and many friends. Preceding her in death were her husband, Gilbert in 1952; one son, Gilbert Jr. and one sister and her parents.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm Tuesday, September 6, 1994, at Immanuel United Methodist Church, Ripon. Reverend Howard Ott will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
Visitation is from 11 am Tuesday until the time of services at the church.
