Ruth Mae Waters, age 90, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, September 21, 1986, at Parkview Nursing Home in Ripon.
Ruth was born September 22, 1895, in Marquette County, WI, the daughter of Robert Douglas. She lived in the Green Lake area most of her life. On November 1, 1916, Ruth married Roger Waters. She worked as a homemaker and helped farm.
Survivors include one daughter, Doris (Ray) Benz of Green Lake; three sons, Robert, Glen and Clifford all of Berlin; nine grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and two sisters, Beatrice Wilcox of Wild Rose and Margaret Salter of Newbury, MI. She was preceded in death by her husband who passed on November 3, 1966 and one grandson.
Visitation for Ruth will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 1986, from 4 – 8:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home.
Funeral Service for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 1986, at 1:30 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with Reverend Dwight Bastian officiating. Interment will follow at Bluffton Cemetery in the Town of Brooklyn.
