Sally A. Woeckner, 76, of Green Lake, passed away on Thursday, April 9, 2009, at Fountain View Care Center in Ripon, with her family at her side.
Sally was born on May 7, 1932, in Princeton, the daughter of Max Moxie and Florence Mae (Yerk) Ladwig. She graduated from Green Lake High School and Ripon College. She worked at and owned the family business, Moxies Supper Club, and worked as a waitress at Nortons Supper Club later in her life. Sally was a member of the Federated Church in Green Lake, Green Lake Senior Center, the American Legion, Coffee Club, HCE 59ers Home Makers Club. In 1971 she married John Jake Woeckner. During Sallys active years she enjoyed water skiing, swimming, bowling, playing Sheep Head and bridge, antiquing, dancing, horse back riding, and many trips to South Padre, TX with Jake.
Survivors include one son, Robert (Joan) Silloway of Pickett, WI; one daughter, Lori S. (Jerry) DelCueto of Buda, TX; five grandchildren, Tracy (fiancée Bill DeGroot) Friday, James (Vicky) Silloway, Quinn Silloway, and Angelynn & Alyssa DelCueto; five great-grandchildren, Paige, Dayne, and Cade Friday, and Nathan and Julia Silloway; one brother, DeWiltonBud (Deloris) Ladwig of Green Lake; one brother-in-law, Tex McLarn of Cranbury, TX. Sally was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John Jake Woeckner; and 1st husband, James T. Silloway; and one sister, Deloris Dee McLarn.
Visitation for Sally A. Woeckner will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, from 9-11:00 a.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Memorial Service for Sally A. Woeckner will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2009, at 11:00 a.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon, with Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. Inurnment will follow in Dartford Cemetery, Green Lake. A memorial has been established.
