SAMANTHA FAYE BARNI, age 18, beloved daughter of Joseph E. Barni and Erica L. Witt; cherished granddaughter of Bobbie Adams (husband John), Michael Krueger (wife Grace), Christine & the late John Barni and great-granddaughter of Robert and the late Faye Witt, and Norma Jean Krueger and the late Donald Krueger; treasured niece of Michael, David & Leslie, Tom, Marie, Sue & Mike Buchta, Caroline, Patricia & Chris, Diane & Kyle Bretz, Colleen & Adam Teresi and the late Teresa, and Dustin & Saunny Murray, Kyle & Katie Lietzau, Lee Krueger and Kimberly Heiling; great niece, cousin and friend of many. 

Samantha loved books, music, going for walks at the zoo and trails, and finding tunnels on her bicycle sidecar. Even with half of a heart, her big smile and contagious laugh brought joy to everyone around her. Her favorite places were West Side Market and Daddy’s lap. She always enjoyed visits and playtime with her neighborhood friends and family.

Samantha was in her senior year at Mayfield High School. She loved her time with her fellow classmates and staff.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, March 7, 2025 at St. Noel Catholic Church, 35200 Chardon Road, Willoughby Hills, OH at 11AM. A visitation and burial will take place in Ripon, Wisconsin. Family will receive friends to pay tribute to and celebrate the life of Samantha at The DeJohn-Flynn-Mylott Funeral Home of Willoughby Hills, 28890 Chardon Rd on Thursday, March 6, 2025, from 4-8 PM.

Visitation in Ripon, WI will be held from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, March 11, 2025 at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home at 7:00 pm, with Father Chuck Wrobel officiating. Interment will take place at 10:00 am on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Town of Ripon, WI, with Deacon Jeff Copson officiating.
