Sandra “Sandy” Lee Rogge, age 62, of Omro, WI passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 23, 2025 at Lakeshore Manor in Oshkosh, WI.
Sandy was born in Oshkosh on November 25, 1962, daughter of Dennis and Patricia (Hansen) Schaetzka. She graduated from Ripon High School in 1981. Sandy worked at the Children’s Clinic in Oshkosh, which was her dream job. She then went on to work for Rogge Foods until her retirement. Sandy had a contagious laugh, a beautiful soul, and will be missed by everyone who knew her. She adored her grandchildren, and her favorite hobby was doting on them, including taking them shopping. Sandy loved to crochet and enjoyed her swimming pool and four-legged friends. Her faith in God was an instrumental part of her life.
Sandy is survived by her children, Andy (Stacy Pranke) Rogge and Angela Henriksen; brother, Steven (Deborah) Schaetzka; grandchildren, Anna Henriksen, Ava Henriksen, Natalie Bartow, and Lilly Larsen; step-grandchild, Piper Sutton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Patricia Schaetzka; sister, Karen Toney; maternal grandparents, Bud and Lorraine Hansen of Pickett, WI; and paternal grandparents, William and Ruth Schaetzka of Ripon, WI.
Visitation for Sandy will be held from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2025, at Living Water Lutheran Church, 1585 S Oakwood Rd, Oshkosh, WI 54904.
Funeral service for Sandy will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, February 28, 2025 at Living Water Lutheran Church in Oshkosh, WI, with Pastor John Dorn officiating. A private family interment will take place following the funeral. In lieu of flowers or monetary gifts, please consider making a donation to one of the following charities or organizations on behalf of Sandy Rogge, in accordance with her wishes: Frontotemporal Dementia, St. Jude Children’s Hospital, Oshkosh Humane Society, or Living Water Lutheran Church in Oshkosh.
Sandy’s family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to her best friend since childhood, and one of her caregivers, Sarah, who stayed by her side until the end. Also, caregivers, Cathi, Chris, Samantha, and Mahagony. You all provided Sandy with the dignity she deserved.
