Sarah (Pamenter) Poniewaz, age 25, of Milwaukee, formerly of Ripon, passed away on Sunday, January 14, 2007 as a result of a snowmobile accident in Ontonagon, Michigan.
Sarah was born on July 19, 1981, in Neenah, the daughter of Dennis Pamenter and Kathy Knepfel. She was educated in Kaukauna and graduated from Ripon High School. On September 16, 2005 she married Nicholas Poniewaz in Wauwatosa, WI. Sarah worked as an office manager at Aqua Pure of Wisconsin.
Survivors include her husband, Nicholas Poniewaz of Milwaukee; daughter, Gianna, her greatest joys in life; parents, Kathy (Jeffrey) Fischer and Dennis Pamenter of Ripon; sisters, Becky Pamenter of Ripon, Kelly (David Miller) and Heather (Emily McCarthy) Pamenter all of Oshkosh and Lissa (Brian) Dreyfus of St. Francis, WI; brothers, Aaron (Julie) Pamenter of Oshkosh and Jonathan and Stephen Fischer of Milwaukee; maternal grandparents, Joseph and Nancy Knepfel of Ripon; paternal grandmother, Marjorie Pamenter of Ripon and maternal great-grandmother Herrietta Knepfel. Mother and Father-in-law, Sandy and Glen Poniewaz of Conover. She is furthered survived by grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins. Sarah is preceded in death by her grandpa, Charles Pamenter, Uncle, Eugene Pamenter and cousin, Sandra.
Visitation for Sarah Poniewaz will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2007 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon and again on Thursday, January 18, 2007 from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the Federated Church in Green Lake.
Funeral Service for Sarah Poniewaz will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Federated Church, Green Lake, with Reverend Karen Gygaz-Rodriguez officiating. Interment will be held in Bluffton Cemetery, Town of Brooklyn. A memorial has been established.
