Selma Jaeger

Selma A. Jaeger, age 84, of Oregon, WI, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 1991, at Sun City, AZ.

She was born July 13, 1906, in the Town of Lamartine in Fond du Lac County, a daughter to August and Martha (Hemple) Pinno. On June 7, 1928, she married Edwin Jaeger. She was widowed on October 21, 1985. For many years she worked with her husband in the fuel oil business, and later as a crossing guard for the City of Ripon.

Survivors include her one daughter, Jeanette (Robert) Rieck of Oregon, WI; four grandchildren, Michael, David, Steven and Susan; three great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Jordan and Bryan all of Tulsa, OK; two sisters, Laura Hoch of Ripon and Hazel Adams of Hemet, CA; one brother, Lawrence Pinno of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Louise Hein; and her husband, Edwin.

Memorial services for Mrs. Jaeger will be held Friday, July 5, 1991, at 11:30 a.m. at the Chapel of Our Saviours United Church of Christ in Ripon. The Reverend Harley C.W. Tretow will officiate. A memorial in her name has been established for Our Saviours Church and the Christian Broadcasting Network.
