Sharon N. (Gransee) O’Brien, age 56, died July 29, 2002, in Terra Linda, CA.
She was born July 16, 1946, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Orville G. and Elsie (Nelson) Gransee. She graduated from high school in Novato, CA and received her teaching degree from Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma, WA. Sharon taught school in Niland, CA, Kotlik and Goodnews Bay, AK and was principal/teacher at Chefomak, AK. She later was court clerk in the court system in Marin Co., CA.
Survivors include her two children, Sean R. and Shannon M. O’Brien, and brother, William Gransee, all of CA. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, August 10, 2002, at Rosendale Cemetery, Rosendale with Rev. Charles Thompson officiating.
Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, Ripon assisted the family with local arrangements.
