Sherrie L. Lamb, age 54, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at her home.
Sherrie was born September 14, 1967 in Milwaukee, WI, the daughter of Michael and Linda (Tanger) Waltman. Sherrie worked as an LPN at Ripon Medical Center for 27 years and then at Agnesian HealthCare up until her retirement. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and spending time outdoors. Sherrie also loved sewing, crafting and spending time with her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, Nicholas (Amanda) Lamb; daughter, Mackenzie (Joseph Vargas) Lamb; one grandchild, Lillyan Vargas, with one more on the way; the love of her life, John Zastrow; sister, Tracy (Scott) Thompson; brother, Brandon (Katie) Waltman; and parents, Linda and Frank Vantaggi. She is further survived by several nieces and nephews; and her furbaby, Jack. Sherrie was preceded in death by her adopted father, John Tanger; her biological father, Michael Waltman; brother, Matthew Waltman; and grandmother, Wilma Gunther.
A visitation for Sherrie will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971.
A funeral service for Sherrie will be held on Friday, July 1, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, with Rev. Bryan Fritsch officiating. Interment will take place at Garden of the Cross Cemetery, City of Ripon, WI. A memorial is being established in her name.
