Sherry Huseboe

Sherry Huseboe, age 73, of Ripon, passed away Sunday, September 21, 2014, at home with her family at her side.

Sherry was born June 15, 1941, in Mt. Horeb, WI, the daughter of Glenn and Ruby (Batker) Thousand. She graduated from Monona Grove High School. Sherry was an accomplished realtor and co-owner of Century 21 Real Estate with Joan Karsten until her retirement. Sherry would always greet everyone with kindness and hospitality and was a perfect ambassador for the Ripon community. She enjoyed an array of activities which included cooking, entertaining, and traveling. She was a member of the Ripon Women’s Club, Study Club and an honorary life-time member of the Ripon and Green Lake area Board of Realtors.

Survivors include her children, J. Derek (Colleen) Huseboe of Wake Forest, NC, Bret Huseboe of Woodbury, MN, Kent (Jenni) Huseboe of Ripon, WI, and Lisa (Kevin) Nass of Pewaukee, WI; grandchildren, Evan, Anna, Ava, Aiden, Madison, Maxwell, Brooke, Grant and Charlie; sister, Sandy (Randy) Hilgers and Rick’s children whom she loved very much, Devon, Heidi and Christopher “C.J” (Rosie) Diedrich. Sherry is further survived by many wonderful friends who loved her through her life. She was preceded in death her parents, Glenn and Ruby; a very special friend, Rick Diedrich and the father of her children, John Huseboe.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 23, 2014, 4 – 7:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr., Ripon, WI 54971 and again on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, 10 – 11:00 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church, 430 West Griswold St., Ripon, WI 54971.

Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2014, 11:00 a.m. at Grace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ripon. Reverend Clay R. Salmela will be officiating.
