Shirley Blank, age 63 of Ripon, died January 26, 1999, at Parkview Care Center where she has resided the past 18 years.
She was born October 27, 1936, in Ripon, a daughter to Gordon and Viola (Berger) Blank. She attended school in Ripon and was a graduate of
Ripon High School. Shirley had been a cook at Parkview Nursing Home prior to becoming a resident in 1981. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church, Ripon.
She is survived by 1 son, Jeff (Marsha) Blank of Ripon; 1 sister, Barb Blank of Hercules, CA; 1 brother, James Blank of Juneau, WI; and 2 grandchildren, Joshua and Jessica Blank, both of Ripon. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 29, 1999, at 11 AM at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with the Rev. Paul Holte officiating. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Ripon. Visitation will be Friday from 9 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in her name for Parkview Care Center.
