Shirley Rabenhorst

August 30, 1935 — December 22, 2008

Shirley Ann Rabenhorst, age 73, of Green Lake, passed away on Monday, December 22, 2008, at Ripon Medical Center with her family at her side.

Shirley was born on August 30, 1935, in Green Lake, WI the daughter of Julius and Florence (Mitchel) Klingbeil. She graduated from Green Lake High School and went on to work at Fabrico in Green Lake for 40 plus years, and at the Green Lake Conference Center in housekeeping for 5 years. Shirley married Klaus Rabenhorst at the Federated Church, where she was a member and also belonged to the Basket Guild.

Survivors include her husband, Klaus Rabenhorst of Green Lake, WI; one daughter, Linda (Dennis) Kallas of Green Lake, WI; two grandchildren, Sarah Kallas of Boston, MA, and Adam Kallas of Kapaa, HI; one brother, Ellwyn Klingbeil of Green Lake WI; and one sister, Florence (Erving) Smith of Madison, WI. Also survived by her step children Karl (Laura) Rabenhorst of Kenosha, WI, Kurt (Jean) Rabenhorst of Green Lake, WI, Kristine (Randy) Oohm of Grand Rapids, MI, and nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and step son, Kent.

Visitation for Shirley Ann Rabenhorst will be held on Friday, December 26, 2008, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Federated Church in Green Lake.

Memorial Service for Shirley Ann Rabenhorst will be held on Friday, December 26, 2008, at 11:00 a.m. at the Federated Church of Green Lake with Reverend Karen Gygax Rodriguez officiating. A memorial has been established in her name.
