Mrs. Shirley Gay Reyes, age 49, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 1990, at Theda Clark Regional Medical Center in Neenah.
She was born January 19, 1941, in Dodge Co., a daughter of Charles and Viola (Ehlert) Dummer. In 1965, she married Roy Reyes. Mrs. Reyes was educated in Waupun. She was a housewife and had lived in Ripon the last ten years.
Survivors include three sons, Carlos Morales of West Palm Beach, FL, and Roy Reyes Jr and Jerry Reyes both of Ripon; seven daughters, Mary Morales and Benita Reyes both of Ripon, Linda Strandell of Nashville, TN, Angie Friesen of Lakeville, MN, Denise Morales of Green Lake, Diahn Morales of Fond du Lac, and Lavone Schnuelle of Kingston; thirteen grandchildren; three brothers, Larry Dummer of Fond du Lac, Charles Dummer of Waupun and Jean Reyes of Markesan, and her mother, Viola Dummer of Randolph. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sisters.
Friends may call Tuesday, May 1, 1990, from 5:30 until 8:00 p.m. at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Reyes will be held Wednesday, May 2, 1990, at 2:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home with the reverend Robert Bearss officiating. Interment will follow in St. Patricks Cemetery, Town of Ripon.
