Shirley Olga Sauer, age 83, of Berlin, WI, passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2011, at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh.
Shirley was born on November 17, 1927, in Oshkosh, WI, the daughter of John and Olga (Mueller) Dahl. On October 20, 1956, she married Robert Sauer. Shirley was a secretary at Green Giant and American Can companies. She was a member of Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Robert of Berlin, WI; one brother, Harold Dahl of Oshkosh, WI; two sisters-in-law, Mary Hare of Ripon, WI and Ellen Dahl of Wisconsin Rapids, WI; and nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, one daughter, Julie Ann Sauer; seven brothers, two sisters and her mother and father-in-law, Nellie and Herman Sauer.
Visitation for Shirley Sauer will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, from 4 – 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Dr. Ripon, WI 54971.
Funeral Service for Shirley Sauer will be held on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at 7:00 pm at Butzin-Marchant Funeral in Ripon. Reverend Mark R. West will officiate. Memorials may be given to Our Saviour’s United Church of Christ, 343 Scott St. Ripon, WI 54971.
Interment will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2011, at 11:00 am at Woodlawn Cemetery in Ripon.
