Shirley Smoody, age 61, of Ripon, WI, died February 18, 1988, at Ripon Memorial Hospital.
She was born April 5, 1926, in West Allis, to Frank and Louisa (Johannsen) Semrad. Shirley was educated in West Allis. On February 21, 1947, she married Clarence Smoody.
Survivors include her husband, Clarence; two sons, Larry of Rosendale and David of Ripon; three daughters, Mrs. Karen Mikelson of North Fond du Lac, Linda Miller of Stevens Point and Joann Schumacher of Markesan; ten grandchildren; one brother, Robert Semrad of Hales Corners; two sisters, Betty Raffel of Hales Corners and Doris Novotny of Milwaukee.
Visitation for Shirley will be held Monday, February 22, 1988, from 9:30 to 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon.
Funeral Service for Shirley will be held on Monday, February 22, 1988, at 11:00 am at Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home in Ripon with the Reverend Robert J.C. Brown officiating.
