Shirley Zeatlow

Shirley Lois Zeatlow, age 84, of Ripon, WI, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2014, unexpectedly at her home.

Shirley was born on May 22, 1929, in Waukau, the daughter of Frank and Bernice (Hildebrandt) Bradley. She graduated from Oshkosh High School and on September 30, 1950, she married Melvin A. Zeatlow at Waukau United Methodist Church. Shirley worked as a cookie packer at the Rippin Foods, but her pride came from caring for her family as a homemaker. She was a lifelong member of the Waukau United Methodist Church, where she was in bake sales and made her numerous pans of dinner rolls to sell. Shirley loved to garden and grow flowers but she especially enjoyed spending time with her family.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Marilyn) Zeatlow, Brandon, WI; daughter, Pam Davis, Berlin, WI; grandchildren, Sarah Zeatlow, Ripon, WI, Rachel Zeatlow, Waupun, WI, and Aaron Zeatlow, Ames, IA; sister, Joyce (Lee) Roberts, Oshkosh, WI; brother, Leonard (Diane) Bradley, Madison, WI; brother-in-law, Henry Guell, Fond du Lac, WI; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brother, Dale Bradley; sister, Vivian Tews and her husband, Marvin; sister, Eunice Guell; and son-in-law, Michael Davis.

Visitation for Shirley Zeatlow will be held Thursday, February 13, 2014, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at the Butzin-Marchant Funeral Home, 515 Mayparty Drive, Ripon, WI 54971, and again on Friday, February 14, 2014, from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Waukau United Methodist Church, 2644 Hwy 116, Waukau, WI 54980.

Funeral Service for Shirley Zeatlow will be held on Friday, February 14, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Waukau United Methodist Church in Waukau. Reverend Kristen Lowe will officiate. Interment will follow at Nepeuskun Cemetery in the Town of Nepeuskun. Memorials may be directed to Waukau United Methodist Church in her name.
